Are you stressed out every time you have a presentation to make? How about speaking in public at a job interview?
Presentations are something that we all have to deal with, from classrooms to boardrooms. Some people find it easy to deliver a powerful presentation. Others find it difficult.
But what if there were a free presentation guru who could listen to your speech and help you practice it?
Meet the PowerPoint Presenter Coach
PowerPoint 365’s free online version has a variety of intelligent AI-powered PowerPoint features that will elevate your presentations, including Presenter Coach.
This new feature will help you improve your presentation skills and public speaking abilities. The most sought-after skill in any company is the ability to stand up and speak what you want, the way that you want.
People form a perception about who and what we are by the confidence that we display when we speak.
Presenter Coach in Action
Visit Office.com to open any PowerPoint slide deck or create a new one. To get started, click Slide Show and Rehearse With Coach. Make sure your sound is on.
The Presenter Coach will give tips on pacing and filler words to make sure you don’t mutter or stumble through your presentation.
The tool encourages presenters be more inclusive in their language with suggestions such as “police officer” rather than “policeman”.
Improve your presentation skills
To keep your audience’s attention, and improve your communication, emphasize key words and phrases through adjusting your pitch and volume.
You should not read directly from a script or notes if you are working from notes. This can make you more monotoneous and less natural. Avoid filler words such as “um” and “uh”.
After you have completed your rehearsal, Presenter coach will present you a summary report that highlights key statistics.
This video will show you how I use this new tool.
