I love giving away project management books

Perhaps you remember the last contest. Here’s another.
I was in touch with a few publishers at the beginning of this month, and a few books that I wanted to give away caught my attention. Jurgen Appelo’s new book “Management 3.0” was one of them. It was titled “Management.0: Leading Agile Developers, Building Agile Leaders”.
Martie’s Management Model could be either a plant or an animal.

It’s true, I’ll admit. ?Jurgen has a better contest, with signed copies. ?I want one of those signed copies …. ? (insert?mischievous?finger-twiddling here) ?You should not enter that contest too so I have you have more chances of winning.
It’s okay. I’m still going to pick Jurgen’s book because I want it do well. Perhaps this contest will help. ?I’ll cry like an infant if I don’t win this book. But, go buy one anyway, this is one you won’t want to miss. Jurgen’s writing style is very refreshing. It’s honest and candid. ?Except that he’s also funny. ?Damn, he’s even better than me.
Here are the rules and contest details.
Jurgen’s Best Post
1) Go to Jurgen’s blog archive page: ?http://www.noop.nl/archive.html
2) Leave a comment here at http://pmStudent.com/book-giveaway-jurgen telling me which of Jurgen’s posts is your favorite, and why. To avoid confusion, copy/paste the direct link. I’m already confused enough. Please tell me what Martie is supposed be.
3) I will be the judge and jury and the executioner. This will determine who did the best job picking a post and explaining why it was their favorite. Extra points for humor, savvy and sheer awesomeness.
This contest ends at midnight on February 4, 2011, the same day of the official book launch. I’ll look through the comments and see who impressed me.
Kudos to Jurgen for the book, I look forward reading it.
Eric McGhee, congratulations on the win!
