Reading Time: 1 Minute. Teresa Ray, Director of the Assisting Program, teaches Dental Assisting in Lawson State Community College. When designing her course, her biggest challenge was double. She had to make learning fun and engaging for students, and ensure that they did their work.
Teresa discovered MindTap and was able to assign assignments to students before they came to the lab. Students would need to complete an activity in order to be granted a “ticket” to enter the lab.
This provided engaging homework opportunities for students and motivated them to move quickly through the course.
